Information We Collect<\/h2>\n

When you submit a run club or race, we collect the information you provide: organizer or contact name and email; club or event name and description; city and public meeting location; dates and times; distances, paces and running preferences; official website, social or registration links; publication permission; and any uploaded image. You may also provide information when you email us or request a correction.<\/p>\n

The website, hosting services and form software may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, submission time, and security or error logs to deliver and protect the service. Login and account features, when used, may process account details and authentication cookies.<\/p>\n

How We Use Information<\/h2>\n

We use information to review submissions, create and maintain club and event pages, communicate with organizers, respond to questions and privacy requests, prevent misuse, and maintain the website. Submitting a form creates a pending review record, not an automatically published listing.<\/p>\n

What Becomes Public<\/h2>\n

After review, approved club or event information may be published, including public meeting details, schedules, descriptions, official links and authorized images. Organizer contact names and emails are used for review and follow-up and are not automatically copied into public listing content. Do not put private contact details or residential addresses into the public description.<\/p>\n

Uploaded logos and photos are intended for public use after review. File URLs may be accessible independently of a listing, so do not upload confidential documents, sensitive information, or images you do not have permission to share.<\/p>\n

Service Providers and External Websites<\/h2>\n

We use service providers for website hosting, business email, form delivery, and authorized technical administration. They may process information needed to provide those services. The website runs on WordPress and uses Elementor, Forminator and HivePress; WPVibe supports authorized technical maintenance. We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect legal rights.<\/p>\n

Pages currently request fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser sends Google the network information needed to retrieve those fonts, such as your IP address and request headers. See Google’s Privacy Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Links to Instagram, maps and race registration services lead to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Ordering, registration, payments and communications on those websites are handled by those services. Organizer contact information is not supplied to advertisers through our current submission workflow.<\/p>\n

Cookies and California Do Not Track Disclosures<\/h2>\n

WordPress and plugins may use cookies or browser storage for login, security, forms and account features. You can control cookies through your browser, although blocking them may affect some features. We do not currently change the website’s operation in response to browser Do Not Track signals. External services, including font delivery and websites you choose to visit through our links, may receive technical information under their own policies.<\/p>\n

How Long We Keep Information<\/h2>\n

Saved form submissions currently have no automatic expiration period configured. We keep information as needed to review submissions, manage and correct listings, document publication permission, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at the address below. Email messages, website records and any backup copies are stored separately; removing a public listing does not automatically erase all related records.<\/p>\n

Your Requests and Choices<\/h2>\n

To ask about information you submitted, request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for a listing or image, email hello@rungroupcentral.com<\/a>. Include the listing URL or submission name and the email used to submit it. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents. We may need to verify your connection to the information before acting. Applicable legal obligations may require retaining some records.<\/p>\n

Children’s Information<\/h2>\n

Our organizer forms are intended for adult organizers or a parent or guardian acting for a group. Please do not submit a child’s private contact details or sensitive information. If you believe a child has provided personal information that should be removed, contact us so we can review the request.<\/p>\n

Security<\/h2>\n

The website uses HTTPS to encrypt information in transit. Administrative access is restricted to authorized accounts. No online service can guarantee absolute security; please avoid submitting sensitive information that is unnecessary for a running club or event listing.<\/p>\n

Changes to This Policy<\/h2>\n
